Mi primer impulso, cuando dibujo, es desarrollar un lenguaje capaz de mostrar un mundo propio que está ahí o al menos eso intento.

Un espacio atemporal donde disponer unos personajes, entre bellos y feos, como pillados "in fraganti". Llevarlos al límite.

Me interesa, actualmente, sobre todo su mirada. Unos ojos que te miran, donde el espectador no está muy seguro de si es él, o ellos, el sorprendido.

El dibujo me centra, huyo del efectismo, a no ser que lo exija el guión.

My first impulse, when I am drawing, is to develop a language which shows my inner personal world. At least, that is what I try.

I tend to show a timeless space where you meet my characters, both beautiful and ugly, pictured as if caught red handed. Then I take them to the limit.

Right now, I am especially fond of their glances. Their eyes look at us - the observers - intensely, and we cannot tell who is the most surprised : them or us.

Drawing balances me. I reject all type of sensationalism, unless the story or script asks for it.
